A/Prof Lim Wee Shiong is the Director at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. He is Associate Professor (Clinical Practice) at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU; Adjunct Associate Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS; Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society; and Associate Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe. A/Prof Lim’s comprehensive track record of scholarly work as a “Geriatrician-Educator-Researcher” included over 200 peer-reviewed publications; Associate Editor of Journal of Frailty and Aging; involvement in international and national workgroups in sarcopenia and frailty (AWGS, AWGC, APGN, GLIS, and WHO peer review group for Sarcopenia Package​); and research and teaching awards in Geriatric Medicine and Health Professions Education. A firm advocate of Pasteur-quadrant use-inspired research, his research work spans the areas of sarcopenia and related disorders; multi-dimensional frailty; healthy ageing and intrinsic capacity; dementia and cognitive disorders; caregiving; and evidence-based medicine in the older person.​

Dr Justin Chew is the Research & Innovation Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH, with a subspecialty interest in cognition and memory disorders. He is also an adjunct faculty at the Geriatric Education & Research Institute (GERI) and a recipient of the NHG-LKCMedicine Clinician-Scientist Fellowship. His research interests are focused on frailty and intrinsic capacity, and the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA)-based models of care for frail older individuals.​

Dr Chia Jia Qian
Research & Innovation Assistant Lead

Dr Chia Jia Qian is the Research & Innovation Assistant Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. Her clinical subspecialty interest is in falls and balance with research interest in sarcopenia and frailty. She is also clinical faulty and clinical teacher for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and LKC Medicine respectively.

Dr Joanne Kua Ee Chia
Education & Learning Lead

MBBS, MRCP (UK), MMed (Int Med), MS HPEd

Dr Joanne Kua is the Education & Learning Lead at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. Her clinical subspecialty interest is in falls and balance and her other interests are in active ageing and medical education. She started the active ageing programme (GRACE) and also has a Masters in Health Professions Education by Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr Kua is the current Programme Director for the National Healthcare Group Geriatric Medicine Senior Residency Programme.

Dr Sabrina Lau Yanting
Education & Learning Assistant Lead

Dr Sabrina Lau is the Education & Learning Assistant Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. She is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and holds the appointments of Content Expert and Clinical Teacher at LKCMed, NTU; Clinical Lecturer at YLLSoM, NUS; and Associate Program Director, NHG Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr Lau’s area of subspecialty is cognition and memory disorders. Her research interests include cognition-related disorders, frailty and sarcopenia, caregiving, and medical education.

Dr Lim Jun Pei
Translation & Practice Lead

Dr Lim Jun Pei is the Translation & Practice Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. Her area of subspecialty is that of cognitive and memory disorders, and research interests include sarcopenia and frailty in older adults. She was the Principal Investigator of “Whole exome sequencing in long-lived older adults (SANOS- Successful ageing in nonagenarians study)”, a study of factors of successful ageing amongst nonagenarians which was awarded Bronze award in Best Poster Presentation competition in the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2019; co-investigator of the seminal GeriLABS and GeriLABS-2 cohort studies; and co-investigator of the evaluation of a Special Care Unit for Older Adults with Delirium and Dementia in the subacute hospital setting. Dr Lim is also a core faculty member of the National Healthcare Group Internal Medicine Residency Programme.

Adj Asst Prof Lee Liang Tee
Translation & Practice Co-Lead

MBBS, MRCP (UK), Mmed (Int Med), FAMS

Adj Asst Prof Lee Liang Tee is the Translation & Practice Co-Lead at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Continuing and Community Care, TTSH, with specialty in Geriatric Medicine. He is the Clinical Director of the TTSH Integrated Care Hub (ICH), and the Clinical lead for the Intermediate Care Workstream for Central Health. Dr Lee is the advisor for the Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Committee at MOH and the Chairperson for AIC IRB. An Adjunct Assistant Professor at NTU’s LKCMed, Dr Lee is also a clinical tutor at YLLSoM and Duke-NUS. With special passion in Geriatric Medicine, he is a core faculty member of the senior residency programme for Geriatric Medicine at NHG. At NUS, he serves as a member of the executive committee for the Graduate Diploma for Geriatric Medicine course. He is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee of Ren Ci Hospital.​
